GOOD LOOKING AND COMFORTABLE TOO WITH HJ BERRY’S FIGURE SET

HJ Berry has extended their Figure range of top selling dining chairs to incorporate a collection of new design Barstools, Lounge Chairs and Armchairs.

This extended range has been part of a design initiative to give hotels and restaurants further choice when adding to any existing HJ Berry Figure collection.

The Figure range originally consisted of six original dining chairs but now - newly added for 2006 – is a bar stool, two new style lounge chairs, and a new style grand armchair.

The dining chairs are all high-backed with subtle curves to give a distinctive and stylish look.  Each chair has its individual design, with a ladder back using vertical slats or with options to have filled in sides for a more formal style and comfortable and natural seating position.

The Barstool retains the concept of a traditional ‘seat’ but HJ Berry have used a square barstool style rather than a rounded shape, with a three quarter height back which is ‘better looking and more comfortable’.

The pair of lounge chairs follows a similar description by using the same open look with vertical back slats and a squared style. One of these chairs is also available with half filled upholstered sides.

The Grand Arm Chair again follows the same design with vertical, square and open looking feature, but is more upright with a high back for added comfort.

All the chairs in the range have added stretch rails for strength and durability and are made from a handcrafted beech hard wood. The chairs can be easily co-ordinated with any décor.

The new lounge range for the Figure collection has been designed to give the traditional ‘old faithful’ comfy chair a 21st Century modern zest and spring!

The range can be designed to have rounded corners and legs – with no sharp edges – therefore reducing the risk of customer accidents. Upholstery can be fitted and matched to any establishment’s décor and a stain resistant fabric can also be used if needed.

For 165 years the Berry family have been manufacturing handcrafted dining tables and chairs. Their design ideal has been to create stylish handcrafted solid wood furniture which can be adapted to meet most customer requirements.

And HJ Berry’s premise is, ‘if a chair isn’t comfortable and it doesn’t look nice - why would anybody want to sit in it?’
